I am very fond of the Yajiro Kokeshi with a narrow waist and simple kimono style design on the body. Here are two 18" dolls which present well as a pair. One has the typical Yajiro bright colors of red, purple, yellow and black, while the other is painted only in black, except for the red dot for the mouth. They both are signed on the bottom, I believe by Sato Toshiaki, and there is an additional unknown inscription on the back of one of the dolls.
