This is a large and lovely, rare Steuben 'Ivrene' vase. An inovation of Frederick Carder, Steuben 'Ivrene' was no longer produced after the 1930's. Sometimes referred to as jade or white Aurene, this vase has a lovely pearlized finish. The piece measures 8" tall and approximately 7 1/2" wide at the shoulder. The mouth rim is 4 3/8" in diameter and the base is 3 3/4" in diameter. The piece is signed 'Steuben', written in script, on the bottom edge. The vase is in very good condition with no chips, cracks or repairs. These pieces are quite hard to find and this would make a wonderful addition to any decor or collection ......
