This is a very nice Japanese Woodblock print of a "Cockatoo and Pomegranate" (later edition) by Ohara Koson, also known as Ohara Shoson. The print is in the original publisher's folder and the image size measures 14 1/4" by 9 1/4". The signature and seal are that of Shoson and there is a 6mm Watanabe seal in the bottom right corner. The print is in very good condition though it does have faint general toning, a small, light crease and some very minor surface rubs (additional photos can be requested). There is no 'mat line' from exposure while in the folder and the print does not appear to have been previously framed ...... $300.00
