This is a 232 pp First Edition hardcover copy of the Charles H(azelius) Sternberg book titled "Dinosaur Hunting in the Bad Lands of the Red Deer River, Alberta, Canada". The book is copyright 1917, was published by Mr. Sternberg and printed by The World Company Press, Lawrence, Kansas. This is the sequal to his 1909 book "The Life of a Fossil Hunter". The book is in good+ condition, pages clean and tight, with a pencilled name of the ffep and a small inked name and date (1921) on the inside cover. The book has rubbed and creased spine ends, rubbed corner, front and back and some very light edge bumps. There is light toning and some soiling of the page edges and very minor use/handling creases of some of the pages. The book does not have a dust wrap, is not remaindered or an ex-library book. There are 52 illustrations/photographs, an index and 4 writings/poems in the back, following the last, 'Conclusion' chapter. Very interesting reading! ...... $250.00
