This book is "The Tides of the Waters of New England and New York" by Alfred C. Redfield, inscribed by him and signed "from A C R". The book is a 108 pp. 1980 hardcover 1st edition ISBN: 0-88492-038-0, LCCCN: 80-51484, published by Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution. The book is in very good condition. The pages are unmarked with minor handling creases. The cover, of blue leatherette with bright gilt titles, has small scuffs and creases to the spine ends. There is no dust wrap. Mr. Renfield was a world renowned oceanographer and this was his last scientific paper, published shortly before his ninetieth birthday. He died in 1983 at the age of 92. ...... $250.00
